INTRODUCTION TO WEB TYPOGRAPHY

If we strip modern web design to its basic elements, we are left with media (video, audio, photo), call to action and typography. Most of the relevant information is still consumed via text (think newspapers, blogs and online magazines) and because of that typography takes great place in whole process of making web functional and alive.

YOU WONT BELIEVE THIS!

Sharing content on social media is not a new thing, and it is a proven way of getting more views and interaction with users. You've already witnessed a lots of posts starting with attractive and engaging captions like with you "won't believe this" or "this video will change the way you look at life", or something that "will melt your heart" and break your keyboard with the tears falling from your eyes. Content of these posts are basically nature, animals or human behavior themed, and as you've clicked and it didn't change your life, you may be wondering what a hell is going on and why do they do that.

BRANDING

Brand is more than a name and symbol. A brand is created and influenced by people, visuals, culture, style, perception, words, messages, PR, opinions, news media and especially social media. Branding is an important marketing tool used to stimulate recognition. When a product, service, person or place is branded, it develops a personality and a reputation. A successful branding campaign results in a name, design, logo or other recognizable symbol that stands out among its competitors.

GOOGLE DOODLES

Google doodles are special, artistically styled versions of Google logo. First one was designed by Google's founders, Sergey Brin and Larry Page. In 1998 when Google was still young (it was so young it had an exclamation mark in it’s logo), it’s founders needed a way to let people know they are away from office, on the Burning Man festival. Response of the community was overwhelming, so by the year 2000 they appointed Google's chief doodler and today there Is a large team of people behind designing new doodles, they are called “Doodlers”. Since 1998 they created over 2000 doodles.

EVOLUTION OF WEB DESIGN

For many Internet users, whose introduction to his Majesty was long before Facebook's baby boom, Webpages back then still draws a nostalgic smile. Why?
